There's something magical about the beginning of December after all the autumn festivities. Lights go up, evenings feel a little cosier, and the excitement of the holidays starts to settle in. To help get into the holiday spirit, this first week of the Christmas countdown is filled with simple crafts, sweet treats, and thoughtful hosting touches that make the season feel warm from the inside out.

Candy canes, chocolate bars, smaller candy bars, Santa chocolate, ribbon, bow, tape and a hot glue gun.

Depending on your style, you can add other candies to Santa's sleigh.

Tip: I recommend hot gluing the candy canes to the chocolate bar for sturdiness.

Day 2: DIY - Handmade Christmas Cards

Hand-painted Christmas cards add such a personal touch to the season. They’re easy to make, fun to customize, and carry a kind of thoughtfulness that store-bought cards simply can’t match.
