This weekend, I co-hosted my second Yoga and Crafts in Frankfurt session in the park. With September already here, Skyline Serenity Yoga and I wanted to collaborate once more more before autumn fully takes over. there was something especially nice about squeezing in one last outdoor session before the season changes.

We were blessed with beautiful weather, and even had a few unexpected guests join us along the way. 🐕🦆 It felt like everyone was making the most of these last warm days in Frankfurt, whether they were doing yoga, getting creative, or simply enjoying being outside together.

For this session, we made cards. Unlike our previous bookmark-making session, this craft was intentionally very open-ended. Everyone could make their cards for whatever they wanted, whether that was for future birthdays, holidays, little motivational letters to themselves, or even Christmas cards (yes, a few people include myself were already getting ahead of the game🎄).

I actually really enjoyed how much freedom this gave everyone. There wasn't one specific thing we had to make, so people had to think a little more about who they were creating something for, what they wanted to say, and how they wanted the card to look.

I've always thought handmade cards are one of the most personal things you can give someone. You don't just choose or design the card yourself — you also take the time to sit down and write a message specifically for that person. In a world where so many things are digital and instant, I think there's something really special about that.

And honestly, after this session, I think I'm set for the next birthdays, celebrations, and big life moments in my friends' and family's lives. I may have accidentally prepared my card supply for the rest of the year.

A lovely little last taste of summer before we welcome autumn. 🍂
